I am starting to study local and other south American mimics, important for comunication on my trip! Here the basics: ¿ Qué decís boludo ? This expression is very porteñ o (From Buenos Aires) The gest is similar to the Italian "Qué cazo fai?" (dunno how to write this) And signifys a profound lack of understanding ;) ¿ Qué sé yo ? An geste to show that you don´t have any idea, don´t know, don´t want to know or just don´t care. (Pronounce "Yo" "Scho"(german, or "Zso" hugarian pron.) in BsAs!) ¡ da me este cachuflin ! Very Coulmbian! They don´t show you a direction with their finger, but with ther mouth. Saying "Cachuflin" for anything. So when a Columbian tells you to give him this cachuflin, pointing with his mouth you ll have to try and take a WILDE guess.... And as a bonbon a bit of original south american pop culture ; watch the hands!!! :))

Das war mal n schöner Abend gestern... mit den Leuten von meiner Spanisch und meiner Artes Escéicas (Schauspiel) Klasse (daher die komischen Fotos teilweise ;)) Ich mach fast jede Woche irgendwas hier auf meiner Terasse... Muss ich jetzt noch ausnutzen, bis ich hier bin. Wenn alles nach Plan geht bin ich nämlich in 3 Wochen auf Reisen. Nach Peru und Bolivien, und den Norden Argentiniens... und wenn ich zurück komme suche ich mir am besten eine neue Wohnung, einerseits, weil die hier umbauen wollen, und anderseits einfach um auch noch ne andere Seite der Stadt kennenzulernen. Aber über meine Reise und Umzugspläne schreibe ich dann noch, wenn ich anfange einen Schimmer zu haben, was ich machen will. Un Beso Grandote an alle, und schreibt mir, wie´s dem Alten Kontinent geht! (Höre und lese viel von Wirtschaftskriese und Konjunkturverlusten... Depristimmung zum Winteranfang?) Ach ja, und heute Morgen war das Wasser weg... in der ganzen Wohnung kein Wasser.... und die Party-überreste wachse

So, endlich war ich mal auf ner Milonga. Höchste Zeit. Mit Kubanischer live musik und Tango-Intermedios. Ich muss Tango lernen! Nächstes Semester mache ich irgendeinen Intensivkurs.

It`s quite funny: I never cared about Politics really... I always thought... whateva... Actually think I was just too lazy to really get into the matter, and too much of a philosopher to just vote anybody who´s face I liked. So... I voted once in my life: Last years Stadtrat, or whateva it was - see, don´t even remember ;) But: Right now I don´t wanna sleep cuz Im reloading the Spiegel-online poll-site every five minutes. The US-election is interessting. Probably only because I wana tell my kids: Ya, ya, in 2008, when the first black president was elected, I was sitting in my room in Buenos Aires.... creating lil dwarfs out of cold-porcelan. Egy gyönyöry vasárnap! Miért? Hogy egyáltalán ki bírtam mászni az ágyból reggel tíz elött, hogy 11re a Mindszentynumban legyek misére, miután tegnap ötkor értem haza. A misén az volt a legjobb, hogy miatta felkeltem, és ... ja, kb. 10 évvel emeltem a korátlagot, amikor 20 perc késésel beestem. De Pssst. Mise után az "ifjuság" az voltam én, meg a Nati, aki a kajálásra még megjelent, meg voltunk hívva töltöttkáposzta-ebédre. Utána spontán látogatás a MBA (Museo de Bellas Artes)-be, fényképkiálításra. A délután maradék részét a Recoltettái utcapiacon töltöttünk, a standok közt sétálva, pörköltmogyorót ropogtatva. Olyan a hangulata mint a Párizsi Montmarte-nek! Ja, apropó: kedzdem Buenos Airest szeretni! Kezd - sok minden ellenére - Párizsra emlékeztetni! A napban ülve egy Capoeira csoport bemutatóját bámultuk egy ideig, a másik irányban meg egy pár Palmeira között kifeszített kötelen egyensulyoztak emberek.
