Good morning people,
I will post something substancial about the Mekong River soon, for now here the link to the fotos of Laos: I like it very much sofar, also due to the fact that on the two day boat ride quite a cool group of travellers came together.

„Das verflixte siebte Jahr“, mondják a németek. Meg azt is mondják, hogy hét évente testünk minden sejtje kicserélődik. Nem tudom, min múlhat ez, de hét év után tényleg sok kapcsolat kerül válsághelyzetbe. Hét évig voltam veled, laktam nálad. Jó lesz most nekünk ez a válás, ez a szünet, ez a távolság. A történet a szokásos: eleinte nagy a lelkesedés, fiatalok vagyunk, diákélet, a jó kocsmák, az új haverok, a hosszú éjszakák. Mindig volt benned élet, lehetőség, spontaneitás. Már csak azért is, mert ilyen megbízhatatlan vagy. Ez eleinte még vonzó. Fittyet hánytál, vállat vontál a megengedettre, a szabályszerűre, a tekintélyre, a szükségletekre. Lenézted azt, ki eszerint éli kis vidéki hétköznapjait. Én meg beleszerettem nagyvilágias viselkedésedbe. Killing Fields Cambodia

No one said anything for a long time. We sat in the tuk-tuk rumbling over the dirt-roads of Cambodia, losing our gaze in the rice-fields or staring straight ahead. Then slowly a discussion unraveled, we could not keep our questions to ourselves: Has humanity improved since? Has there been any positive change in the world? To use stereotypes: Did we learn from our mistakes? These were the questions sparking the debate between backpackers of different nationalities and age-groups driving back to Phnom Penh City. We had just visited the genocide memorial center Choeung Ek, also known as the Killing Fields. It is simply unbelievable what happened in this country between 1975 and 1979. Two to three million people died or were killed out of a population of then eight million Cambodians. Why? A nagy kérdés - die grosse Frage

Jetzt ist die Zeit da die frage zu stellen: warum reise ich? Ich sitze in einem Kaffee (ungewöhnlich für Bangkok und mich) unweit des Königspalstes, welches ich aus touristenschwarm- und finanzgründen nicht besucht habe, des Wat Poh, welches ich besucht habe, Fotos hier , und des Siam museum, welches ich heute morgen besuchen wollte, es aber montags zu hat. daher die Zeit, die obige frage zu stellen. Ich reise zum ersten mal nicht, um dem Land indem ich wohne zu entfliehen. Ich verstehe plötzlich die Menschen die im Urlaub am anderen Ende der Welt auf dem Handy Fotos von ihrem schönen zuhause zeigen. Ich fühle mich grundsätzlich  wohl in Budapest, in meiner Wohnung, im Freundeskreis, in meiner Haut. Doch fehlt was. Im Moment neige ich dazu, es einfach "Trägheit" zu nennen. Komisch?
